Turkish authorities detained a student for using an AI-assisted device to cheat on a university entrance exam.
The student, behaving suspiciously during the weekend exam, was arrested and jailed pending trial.
An accomplice was also detained in connection with the scheme.
Police in Isparta released a video demonstrating the device, which included a camera disguised as a shirt button and a router in a shoe sole.
The video showed a police officer scanning a question and the AI software providing the correct answer via an earpiece.
