President Trump made a bold move on Monday by revoking Secret Service protection for Hunter and Ashley Biden, even though President Biden had granted them security coverage until July.
Trump’s children had received similar protection in 2021. The ongoing conflict between the Trump administration and the Biden family regarding Secret Service protection is intensifying.
Trump criticized Hunter on social media, saying, “He’s had Secret Service protection for too long.” He claimed that 18 agents, funded by taxpayers, are assigned to guard Hunter. “He’s vacationing in South Africa with them,” Trump added. As of now, Hunter will no longer have that detail of protection.
Ashley is also facing scrutiny. Trump claims she has 13 agents, which he considers excessive. He is terminating their arrangement early. Biden established their security before leaving office in January, but Trump is not waiting until July; he is ending it swiftly.
