Donald Trump unveils a new line of sneakers featuring the golden “Never Surrender high-tops” during an unexpected visit to Sneaker Con in Philadelphia on Saturday.
Per the promotional website, the “official sneaker of President Trump,” which also bears American flag motifs, is marketed at $399 each in a limited edition.
Additionally, the collection includes low-top sneakers available in “T-Red” or “POTUS” white, each accented with a golden “45” emblem, priced at $199. The website further advertises the “Victory 47” cologne, presented in a golden container with a stopper resembling Trump’s likeness, for $99.
Expressing long-held aspirations, Trump addressed the enthusiastic assembly of sneaker aficionados, receiving “USA, USA” chants upon his entrance. He shared his anticipation for the venture’s success, attributing it to the dedication of his team and a concept he had nurtured for over a decade.
This launch comes after a New York judge’s ruling on Friday, mandating Trump to compensate $355 million for purportedly exaggerating his wealth to mislead banks and insurers. Trump continues to promote a range of “never surrender” merchandise, including t-shirts and mugs, alongside his sneaker line.
