Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One features Tom Cruise’s’most risky stunt ever
The Top Gun: Maverick star, 60, has released a behind-the-scenes film of the stunt.
Tom, famed for dangerous action sequences, will plunge from a cliff with a motorcycle in Mission Impossible 7.
The BTS film opens with an image of a cliffside ramp with Tom declaring, “This is the most perilous thing we’ve ever attempted.” This is a cliff-to-base-jump motorbike jump. Since childhood, I’ve wanted to accomplish this.
The clip shows a montage of the Edge of Tomorrow star’s preparation for the stunt before director Christopher McQuarrie says, “Tom put together this master plan to coordinate all of these professionals.”
Tom skydived 500 times and motocross 13,000 times. Christopher added, “The stunt is simply one of the hurdles.” Second, film it from the correct angle.”
Dead Reckoning Part 1 will be released next year, and Part 2 in 2024.
