This tool will provide users with essential information on voting processes, including mail-in voting and voter registration guidance. Unlike in 2020 and 2022, this resource is being introduced well ahead of the presidential primaries.
TikTok’s approach to misinformation remains consistent with its 2022 policies. The platform will continue to ban political ads, including those disguised as branded content from creators.
In its ongoing battle against false information, TikTok plans to work with fact-checking organizations. They will help determine whether content should be recommended or flagged as “unverified.”
