Tickets for the eagerly anticipated three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Ireland have completely sold out.
Cricket Ireland shared the news on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support. “A sell-out for the Pakistan series! We’re thankful for the support and will soon announce more men’s and women’s internationals,” the organization announced.
Scheduled for May 2024, the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team will compete in Ireland. The matches are set for 10th, 12th, and 14th May at Dublin’s Clontarf, beginning at 3 PM local time.
The series is crucial for Pakistan, dubbed the Green Shirts, as they gear up for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA. Sharing a group at the World Cup, both teams will face each other on June 16 in Lauderhill, Florida.
In preparation, the Pakistan team underwent a two-week physical fitness camp with the Pakistan Army ahead of their home series against New Zealand.
New Zealand will arrive in Pakistan on April 14 for a five-match series, a pivotal prelude to the T20 World Cup. The initial three T20Is against New Zealand are scheduled in Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium on April 18, 20, and 21. The teams will then move to Lahore for the final two matches on April 25 and 27.
