According to police, three police personnel were injured in a clash with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers in Model Town in the wee hours of Friday.
Police claimed that PAT workers tortured them after they made efforts to stop them.
Meanwhile, speaking to media at Model Town, Awami Tehreek President Raheeq Abbasi asked PAT workers to move forward without giving consideration to police and besiege .
He urged PAT workers to defy besiege and come in a caravan of 20, 20 buses for Youm-e-Shuhada.
He said Punjab government would be responsible of the situation if police stop them.
