Three personnel of law enforcement agencies were among five people who suffered wounds in a remotely controlled bomb blast which hit a vehicle of a law enforcement agency on Quetta’s Spiny Road, here on Wednesday night.
The police said that unknown men planted a bomb on Spiny Road and detonated it with remote-control device when a vehicle of security forces was passing through the area. “As a result, five people including three personnel of law enforcement agencies, a woman and a man suffered injuries.”
The rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to hospital. According to bomb disposal squad sources, improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the blast. “Unknown men targeted vehicle of a law enforcement agency,” the police said.
The law enforcement personnel have cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects. Further probe was underway. (APP)
