Tesla has initiated a complimentary demonstration program for its Full Self-Driving technology across key European markets. The promotional campaign offers supervised test rides in multiple German, French, and Italian cities throughout 2025.
The free FSD ride program will continue through December 2025. Tesla teams will conduct demonstrations across five German cities: Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Hannover.
French demonstrations will occur in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Paris, and Toulouse. Italian participants can experience the technology in Bologna, Milan, Rome, and Verona.
According to Tesla’s official events page, “Our team will take you on a ride-along, showing how Full Self-Driving (Supervised) works in real road conditions.” During these sessions, customers occupy the passenger seat while a trained Tesla employee manages the vehicle.

This supervised approach allows potential customers to experience the autonomous technology while maintaining safety protocols during the demonstration phase.
The Netherlands Vehicle Authority is collaborating with Tesla to secure regulatory approval for Full Self-Driving technology deployment throughout Europe. The RDW confirmed a February 2026 target for FSD’s regional debut but hasn’t disclosed specific marketing details.
Elon Musk recently indicated that the forthcoming FSD version 14.3 might achieve unsupervised autonomy, describing it as “the final piece of the puzzle” in a social media post.
This demonstration program represents a strategic effort to build consumer confidence and regulatory comfort ahead of Tesla’s planned autonomous technology expansion in European markets.
