The Karachi based Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) earlier today strongly expressed their anger on the killing of MQM workers. Senior leader Haider Abbas Rizvi stated that. “terrorist’s have been given the license to kill”. He said that banned organizations are targeting the MQM.

The MQM leader asserted that MQM workers are being murdered but no culprit has been arrested so far. Rizvi stated that terrorists are roaming around openly but one is stopping them. He said that the political and religious parties have gone mute on the issue and are only acting as silent observers.

The senior MQM leader expressed these views during MQM’s press conference in Karachi.

Speaking on this occasion, Rizvi said that the state’s writ is openly being challenged in Karachi without any resistance. He demanded that the city’s peace be restored and situation normalized.

The MQM leader also expressed his condolences during the conference to the family of an MQM worker murdered in a target killing incident in the Korangi area of Karachi.
