Ted Lasso, one of Apple TV+‘s biggest hits, is officially returning for its fourth season. The streaming platform has confirmed that the new season will premiere in summer 2026.
The Emmy-winning series last aired in March 2023. Apple TV+ announced its renewal two years later, in March 2025. The show has won 13 Emmy Awards since its debut, cementing its status as one of the platform’s flagship titles.
Apple TV+ shared the first official look from the upcoming season on social media. “You better believe it. Ted Lasso returns this summer,” the streamer posted on its official Instagram account.
Jason Sudeikis returns as Ted Lasso, the optimistic coach at the heart of the series. In season four, Ted faces a fresh challenge as he takes charge of a women’s football team competing in the second division.

The storyline marks a notable shift for the series while keeping its focus on leadership, resilience, and personal growth. Early visuals suggest the new setting will play a central role in Ted’s journey.
Ted Lasso Season 4 Cast
Tanya Reynolds, best known for her role in Sex Education, joins the cast as a new character. She will play an assistant coach at Ted’s new club, making her debut in the Ted Lasso universe.
Fans will also notice a key casting change. Grant Feely has been introduced as Henry, Ted’s son, following the recasting of the role. Gus Turner previously played Henry in earlier seasons in a limited capacity.
Several core cast members are set to reprise their roles in season four. These include Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Brett Goldstein.
With returning favourites and new characters, season four is expected to build on the show’s emotional depth while exploring new dynamics on and off the pitch.
