A schoolteacher has been arrested beating young schoolchildren in Chitral.
According to Chitral police, a case has registered against the, Inam, under Child Protection System Bill.
Police also added that , under the Child protection act the accused will minimum be punished six years in jail.
The local police arrested the principal and teacher of the school who is reportedly a beating students brutally.
The First Information Report (FIR) registered against the accused has cited a video clip doing rounds on social media as evidence, which is showing the teacher madly running after the young boys and girls and badly thrashing them with stick.
Under the child protects act, corporal punishment is not allowed in schools across Pakistan. This incident was recorded at a private school of Daroosh area in Chitral.
