Taylor Swift has reportedly renounced her membership at Casa Cipriani, a high-profile celebrity haunt in New York after images of her with Matty Healy were leaked despite the club’s strict ‘No Photos’ policy meant to provide a sense of privacy for celebrities.
Speculation regarding Taylor Swift’s alleged relationship with The 1975’s lead vocalist, Matty Healy, has been rampant. Much of this controversy stems from photos taken during their outings, including those from Casa Cipriani.
According to Page Six, Taylor Swift chose to frequent Casa Cipriani primarily because of their ‘No Photo’ policy. However, this strategy backfired when a photo of them at the club was leaked online.
The Fallout at Casa Cipriani
An insider at Casa Cipriani shared, “At least three members got expelled for taking pictures of Taylor. She came knowing the policy and then had to leave,” adding, “They are cracking down now like crazy,” referring to the swift action against violators.
In response to the incident, Casa Cipriani said, “It has come to our attention that images have been captured at the club in recent days that have infringed upon the privacy of our members.”
Club’s Response: Swift’s Membership Not Canceled
Casa Cipriani further highlighted in its statement that “any member who violates these policies will face immediate revocation of their membership.” According to the source, two members are now permanently banned, and another has been suspended, requiring them to undergo the application and approval process anew.
However, a representative from the club refuted claims of Taylor Swift’s membership cancellation, stating, “It is absolutely not true.” They explained, “Casa Cipriani revoked memberships to a few members for infringing our club rules.”
