The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Islam are holding talks in the Tirah Valley of the Khyber Agency.
The TTP is being led by Gul Zaman while the Lashkar-e-Islam is being led by Mangal Bagh. The Jirga is also being attended by Taliban leaders from North, South Waziristan and Orakzai Agency.
The Jirga is deliberating on restoring confidence, eliminating differences and the exchange of prisoners. Both LI and the TTP terror outfits have been at war with the state of Pakistan.
