The Supreme Court of Pakistan will observe its annual winter vacation from December 18 to December 31, 2025. According to an official notification, the court will resume regular operations on January 1, 2026.
Despite the scheduled break, Supreme Court offices will maintain normal operations throughout the vacation period. The judiciary will continue hearing urgent matters and previously fixed cases during these dates.
This arrangement ensures continuous access to justice for time-sensitive legal matters while allowing court personnel their scheduled break. The announcement follows this week’s notification from the Federal Constitutional Court regarding its separate winter recess. The FCC will close from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026, resuming hearings on January 5, 2026.
