Superhero fans can expect two major reveals. Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres its first trailer ahead of its July 31, 2026 release. The film stars Tom Holland, alongside Zendaya, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, and Jon Bernthal.
Later in the year, Marvel will release Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026. The cast includes Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen.
The halftime show will feature Grammy-winning artist Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. He is expected to perform primarily in Spanish, a decision that has sparked debate.
U.S. President Donald Trump publicly criticised the choice. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell defended the decision, saying criticism is inevitable given the size of the audience.
With championship football, blockbuster trailers, and a high-profile halftime show, Super Bowl LX is shaping up as a global entertainment spectacle. This event extends far beyond the field.
