The Sunni Ulema Council (SUC) leader, Maulana Masood ur Rehman Usmani, was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in Islamabad on Friday evening.
As per the initial information reported, Maulana Masood Usmani, the Deputy General Secretary of the Sunni Ulema Council, was attacked when unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle. Despite being rushed to the hospital immediately, he was tragically pronounced dead by the doctors on arrival.
Following the incident, Islamabad police and law enforcement forces swiftly arrived and secured the area. The Islamabad police have initiated a thorough investigation to apprehend the suspects responsible for this heinous crime.
