Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) Ulema Board issued a fatwa (religious edict) against GEO’s Morning Show declaring it Haram (Forbidden) to watch GEO TV Network, other news channels reported.
SIC has demanded to file case against GEO TV as per Blasphemy act. Religious Scholars said filming Manqabat (Qawwali ) on Veena Malik and Asad Khattak is like insulting Holy personalities.
Hamid Raza informed that issue will be raised in court and warned of protests in Karachi for infinite period of time for not getting justice.
