A devastating stampede occurred on Friday in Karachi during a Zakat funds distribution event, leading to the death of at least eight people, comprising four women and a child.
The incident occurred at Site Noras Chorangi while the international company ASCO distributed Zakat funds to deserving individuals.
Tragically, two women and a child fell into a drain during the chaos and lost their lives. Furthermore, the stampede caused several people to lose consciousness.
Following the incident, the bodies of two women were transported to Civil Hospital, while the remains of the other two women and the child were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
