Stacey Williams has accused Donald Trump of groping her at a 1992 party, a meeting facilitated by Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier.
The Guardian reported on Wednesday that Williams encountered the future Republican presidential candidate through Epstein, whom she had previously dated. “It became very clear then that he and Donald were really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Williams remarked. She revealed the alleged assault during a call hosted by Survivors for Kamala, a group supporting Trump’s Democratic rival, Kamala Harris.
In 1992, Epstein, who would later be convicted of sex offences and die by suicide in prison in 2019, unexpectedly visited Trump with Williams at his New York office. There, Trump allegedly pulled her close and began groping her. Williams, now 56, claimed Trump touched her breasts, waist, and buttocks, which left her immobilized. She noticed the two men exchanging smiles during the incident.
The Trump campaign has not yet responded to AFP’s request for comment, but a campaign spokeswoman told The Guardian that the allegations were “fake,” purportedly fabricated by the Harris campaign. She also labelled Williams “a former activist” for Democratic ex-president Obama.
Williams also produced a postcard from Trump’s South Florida mansion, which he allegedly sent to her agent after the incident. The handwritten postcard said, “Stacey—Your home away from home. Love Donald.”

Trump, who has been accused by more than 20 women of sexual assault or harassment, denies all allegations of wrongdoing. In January, a New York court ordered him to pay $83.3 million in compensation to writer E Jean Carroll, whom he was found liable for sexually assaulting and defaming.
