Sonya Hussaiyn’s latest film, “Babli/Babar,” has achieved significant global recognition, being officially selected for the Cannes World Film Festival. This milestone underscores the increasing impact of Pakistani cinema on the international scene. Directed by Kamran Faiq and written by Qurbe Abbas, the film showcases the talents of newcomers, including Hasnan Rana and Tanveer Syed, among others.
Hussaiyn, who stars and debuts as a producer in the film, announced the news on Instagram.
