Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha received a luxurious BMW i7, valued at millions, from her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple tied the knot on June 23 and formalized their union under the Special Marriage Act that day.
After a private wedding ceremony, the newlyweds held a grand reception at Mumbai’s upscale Bastion. Family, friends, relatives, and renowned Bollywood celebrities attended the event.
Media speculation arose when the couple made a grand entrance in a white BMW i7 at the reception, suggesting Zaheer had gifted the electric car to Sonakshi.
Priced at around 20 million INR, the car has attracted considerable attention on social media.
While Zaheer’s lavish gift has thrilled Sonakshi’s fans, Hindu extremists have also criticized the couple.
Sonakshi, having married a Muslim actor, faces significant backlash on social platforms.
In her defense, her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, commented, “My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional. Those trolling Sonakshi on social media are jobless individuals.”
