In an intelligence-based operation, the Soldier Bazar Police in Karachi’s District East conducted a raid and captured key figures of the infamous Black Corolla gang.
Irfan Bahadur, Senior Superintendent of Police for East Karachi, reported the arrest of a gang member, Shahzad Ali, notorious for targeting international burger chains across Pakistan.
During questioning, Ali confessed to his involvement in several robberies in Sindh, including Hyderabad and Punjab. With a criminal record showing more than 35 arrests in Punjab alone, Ali’s capture marks a crucial step in dismantling the gang’s operations.
The operation yielded crucial evidence, such as CCTV footage connecting the suspects to the crimes, alongside the seizure of illegal firearms, ammunition, and a vehicle.
Investigations have further uncovered that three of Ali’s accomplices are already detained in Punjab’s Gujranwala, with another named Rashid still evading capture.
