Islamabad: Sit-in outside the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan enters into second day.
At least dozens of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) belong from Karak district arrived in Islamabad a couple of days ago and staged protest sit-in outside Khan’s house, demanding basic facilities for their area.
Last night, the protesters placed chairs outside the residence of PTI chief.
The protesters are dancing on traditional Pashto songs, demanding the PTI chief to ensure facilities of power, gas and water.
Earlier, PTI’s provincial leader Azam Swati tried to negotiate with protesters, but protesters demand Imran Khan’s presence in the process of negotiation.
Karak district has representation in the National assembly (NA-15) and KPK provincial assembly as well.
