Jamat e Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Bani Gala on Wednesday to present advice forwarded from the government.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Sirajul Haq said issue can be resolved if government formulates judicial commission whereas both the stakeholders would firmly stand by their stance until they reach any conclusion.
He further said dialogue ensures resolution of crisis adding that both parties are keen on holding talks.
PTI senior leader Naeemul Haq accused provincial members of Election Commission were involved in rigging adding that PTI respects all three judges.
Earlier today, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah and Federal Minister Finance Ishaq Dar on Wednesday asked Jamat e Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq to bridge gaps in negotiation process.
Khursheed Shah called Sirajul Haq to draw consultation over appointment of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and also requested him to initiate the process of talks between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government whereas Ishaq Dar also requested him to resume the dialogue process.
