Sindh’s education department has announced hiring for more than 500 jobs through Sindh’s Public Service Commission (SPSC).
In the announcement, the Sindh Education Department said it will use the State Public Service Commission to fill 560 positions for education officers and assistant education officers.
The announcement stated that SPSC was tasked with filling 550 positions at the 17th-grade level.
A few months ago, the Sindh education department froze the paychecks of almost 2,000 phantom instructors.
To discontinue paying 2,019 “ghost teachers,” the provincial education department contacted the provincial accountant general. The AG of Sindh has frozen the salary of the ghost teachers in response to a letter from the education department.
