The Sindh government’s fire safety measures require all provincial offices to immediately enforce strict fire prevention protocols. Authorities have directed departments to comply fully with updated safety regulations to protect employees and public property.
Under the new directives, LPG cylinders are strictly banned inside government office premises. In addition, security guards must remain on duty around the clock to ensure a quick emergency response.
The Sindh government’s fire safety measures include mandatory installation of firefighting equipment and fire alarm systems in all offices. These systems aim to detect fire hazards early and reduce potential damage.
Departments must also provide fire safety training to staff. Emergency contact numbers, including the Rescue 1122 hotline, must be clearly displayed inside buildings for immediate access.
Authorities have stressed the importance of regularly inspecting electrical appliances. Faulty wiring and overloaded circuits pose serious risks. Therefore, periodic checks are now required to prevent fire incidents.
Offices must promptly remove garbage and flammable materials. Clear access routes must remain open, so fire brigade vehicles can reach buildings without obstruction.
