Babal Bhayo, an advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has resigned amid accusations of involvement in arms smuggling within official protocols.
Bhayo stepped down from his position to participate in the investigation process voluntarily.
In his resignation statement, Bhayo addressed the controversy after illegal arms were intercepted in Jacobabad. He refuted the allegations against him, stating that he had no involvement or connection with the incident.
As an advisor to the Chief Minister, Bhayo emphasized that his decision to resign was influenced by the politicization of the issue, which he described as unnecessary and detrimental.
Bhayo expressed concern that these allegations were aimed at damaging his reputation. By resigning, he aims to ensure that the investigations are conducted transparently and without any implications of bias, thus upholding the integrity of the process.
