Karachi: After JIT report on Saulat Mirza revelation, murder case of MD of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (K-Electric), Shahid Hamid is likely to be reopened.
According to sources, police have received details from Anti-terrorism court (ATC) over the directives of the federal government.
Saulat Mirza was awarded death penalty in May 1999 for Hamid’s murder. His driver and security guard were also killed with him on July 5th, 1997.
Sindh government formed a fresh JIT following Mirza’s video statement in which he claimed that MQM chief Altaf had ordered him to carry out the killings.
Miraz will be sent hanged in Machh jail of Balochistan.
