Following the success of “Pathaan,” Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is gearing up for the release of “Jawan,” an action thriller with an unprecedented production budget of INR300 crore, making it his most expensive film to date. Directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar and produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, with Gauri Khan overseeing the project, the film is set for a September 7, 2023 release.
In “Jawan”, SRK takes on the role of a complex vigilante on a personal mission. He’s joined by Tamil cinema icons Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, actors Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, and a cameo by Deepika Padukone. The teaser hints at SRK in multiple intriguing avatars, adding a mysterious allure to the film.
Besides “Jawan” and “Pathaan,” SRK will also feature in “Dunki” alongside Taapsee Pannu, set for a December premiere.
