The star-studded cast for Shaan Shahid’s upcoming spy thriller “Red, White, and Green” will include his previous co-star Humaima Malick, as revealed by her in an Instagram story.
Shaan will direct the film, which delves into the world of intelligence agencies in Pakistan and the US. In addition to directing, Shaan will also star in the project, along with actors Humaima, Mohib Mirza, and Uzma Khan. The release date remains unannounced, but moviegoers eagerly await Shaan’s return to acting and the film’s patriotic themes.
“Red, White, and Green” marks Shaan’s comeback to the big screen and his second collaboration with Humaima and Mohib. They previously worked together on “Arth” (2017).
“Arth,” a remake of the 1982 film of the same name, explored themes of love, betrayal, self-discovery, and empowerment. In “Arth,” Shaan plays Ali, who has an affair with Umaima, portrayed by Humaima. Mohib played Umer, who comforted Ali’s jilted wife.
“Arth” ended hopefully, highlighting the importance of self-respect and personal growth. Whether “Red, White, and Green,” with its blend of action and drama, can emulate the same positive themes remains to be seen.
