At least seven people were killed and more than 20 were injured when a Thatta-bound bus rammed into an oil tanker at National Highway on Tuesday morning.
The bus was travelling to Thatta from Karachi when it crashed into an oncoming oil tanker at Sassui Toll Plaza.
Rescue teams reached the spot after receiving information and shifted the dead bodies and the injured persons to a nearby hospital.
According to hospital staff, several victims are in critical condition. The bodies and the injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital
Police initially stated that the incident took place due to excess speeding.
