Karachi: A senior judge survived an ambush on his car in Karachi when police guards returned fire.
Senior Civil Judge Sikandar Hameed’s car was fired upon by unknown gunman in city’s Malir area this morning, according to police.
Officials said police guards of the judge returned fire that injured the assailant who was on a motorbike. He, however, managed to flee from the scene following the broad daylight shooting.
Police confirmed the judge remained unhurt in the gun attack. They said investigation was underway to ascertain motives behind the drive-by attack.
