Eight individuals were wounded, including five Frontier Constabulary (FC) officials, in an explosion close to the Prime Hospital Complex on Warsak Road in Peshawar.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) for Warsak, Mohammad Arshad Khan, disclosed that preliminary reports indicate that the casualties include five FC personnel and three civilians. The blast is suspected to have originated from an improvised explosive device (IED).
SP Khan emphasized that an in-depth investigation is currently in progress. Insights from the Bomb Disposal Unit’s forthcoming report are expected to shed more light on the specifics of the incident.
