Prominent wanted terrorist commander Muhammad Noor alias Sarakai was gunned down by security forces in North Waziristan’s Shewa region.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a Saturday statement the terrorist commander was killed amid an intense exchange of gunfire.
The statement added, “The terrorist remained actively involved in high-profile terrorist acts against security personnel as well as kidnappings for ransom and was wanted in many cases by the CTD.”
The security forces also recovered the terrorist’s firearms and ammo.
The people praised them for executing the operations and offered their complete assistance to eradicate the threat of terrorism, the ISPR reported.
