Special Communication Organization (SCO) has announced to provide 3G, 4G services in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Commanding Officer of Special Communication Organization Mirpur Division Lt Col Syed Ayad Hassan said that all initial arrangements have been finalized to launch 3G and 4G services in Azad Kashmir to facilitate consumers with latest services of telecommunication.
He said additional technical equipment to facilitate consumers with swift services would also be made available soon.
Hassan added that the services would be started following permission by the government of Pakistan.
CO is a public sector organization working under Ministry of IT (Government of Pakistan), established in 1976 to develop, operate and maintain telecom services in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
SCO is providing telecom services to both public and private sector (general populous) in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan region.
It has a unique distinction of providing all brands of telecom services from voice to data under one platform.
