The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have collaboratively launched a new educational visa program.
Gulf News reported that Education Minister Yousef Al Benyan unveiled the initiative during the Human Capacity Initiative conference in Riyadh, which concluded recently under the auspices of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
This visa program aims to attract international scholars and students to Saudi Arabia, enhancing the nation’s educational and research capabilities. It aligns with the broader objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to transform the country into a global education hub and foster cross-cultural interactions.
The “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform simplifies the application process for international students, facilitating access to various academic, training, and research opportunities within the country’s advanced educational institutions. This initiative represents a significant step towards enriching Saudi Arabia’s educational landscape and promoting international collaboration in research and learning.
