Bryan Randall, known for his work in photography and relationship with famed actress Sandra Bullock since 2015, died on August 5.
Bryan Randall’s battle with the rare neurological ailment, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, remained largely private until his family’s disclosure. Randall’s family issued a heartfelt statement expressing their sorrow:
“It is with profound grief we reveal that on August 5, Bryan Randall left us following a challenging three-year battle with ALS. From the beginning, Bryan chose to experience his ALS journey in privacy, and we strived to respect his wishes. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to the dedicated doctors who partnered with us during this illness and the compassionate nurses who, forsaking time with their families, became an integral part of ours.”
The severity of ALS lies in its attack on the brain and spinal cord’s nerve cells, resulting in the loss of voluntary muscle movement.
The Journey of Sandra and Bryan
