The Sana Yousaf TikToker killer incident has shocked the community, with police launching a manhunt for the unidentified assailant.
Police reports reveal that an unidentified intruder entered Sana’s residence in G-13/1 and fired multiple shots at close range before fleeing the scene. Sana, a well-known influencer with over 450,000 followers on Instagram and 700,000 on TikTok, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries at the location. Her body was later transferred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a postmortem examination. The investigation into the shooting in Islamabad’s G-13 area is ongoing, and no arrests have been made so far.

Authorities suspect the shooter was a visitor, possibly a cousin, based on initial family statements. Sana, an MBBS first-year student, received two bullets. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and forensic evidence to trace the suspect.
Sana’s death is part of a worrying trend of violence against TikTokers in Pakistan, following the murders of Iqra in Khushab and Hira in Quetta due to “objectionable” content.
