Throughout his ODI career, Malik has participated in 287 matches, amassing 7534 runs at an average of 34.55 and claiming 158 wickets.
Although his tenure in Test cricket was brief, Malik made a significant impact across 35 matches, scoring 1898 runs at an average of 35.14, with his highest score being 245 against England in 2015 in UAE, alongside taking 32 wickets.
