Samsung has restarted the One UI 7 update rollout for the Galaxy S24 series and select foldable devices, overcoming a software bug that halted the initial release.
Launched on April 7, 2025, and paused a week later due to issues on Korean variants, the update—bringing Android 15 to the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 Special Edition is now resuming, starting in South Korea, with a global rollout expected soon, as announced on April 18, 2025.
The One UI 7 update was suspended after users reported significant issues, primarily on Korean Galaxy S24 devices. Samsung identified the problem and issued a revised software version, build number S928NKSU4BYD9, for South Korean users, which includes bug fixes and performance enhancements.
