Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Buds 3 are rumoured to undergo a comprehensive redesign, incorporating stems similar to those found on the Apple AirPods Pro.
Leaked images of the product’s retail box, as revealed by 91Mobiles via their X account, highlight this design shift based on information from various industry sources.
The leak corroborates insights from prominent tipsters, including Evan Blass, suggesting a significant stylistic transformation for Samsung’s True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds. Anticipated to be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event rumoured for July, these changes are expected to be introduced alongside Samsung’s flagship foldable smartphones.
The packaging hints at the new design and features AKG branding, indicating a continued partnership with the renowned acoustics company. Key specifications listed on the box include up to six hours of playback time on a single charge, though it remains unclear if this is enabled with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The previous model, Galaxy Buds 2, offers up to five hours with ANC.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Buds 3 promises enhanced functionality with quick charging capabilities, providing one hour of playback after just ten minutes. The box also notes the addition of “adjustable secure-fit earhooks” and resistance to sweat and water, suggesting an emphasis on durability and comfort suitable for active users.
