Pakistan local news channel, Samaa TV’s Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) van was attacked by unknown gunmen in Karachi on Sunday.
According to Samaa Tv, unknown gunmen opened fire at the Samaa TV DSNG vehicle near Liaqatabad No.10 bridge.
Fortunately,no casualties has been reported. Cameraman Kamran Uddin and driver Saleem remained safe in the gun attack which damaged rear windscreen of the vehicle and hit a tyre.
Police said five to six shots were fired at the vehicle, in third such attack on media persons in a month.
Police and Rangers arrived at the scene and collected evidences from the site where empty bullet shells were recovered.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah took notice of the attack and directed police authorities to investigate the firing incident.
Sindh Interior Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal telephoned IG Sindh and sought report of the incident from him.
Officials said an investigation committee has been constituted under SP Liaqatabad. (PhotoNews/Samaa Tv)
