Salman Khan’s team has clarified that they have no ties with “The Great Indian Kapil Show” on Netflix amid allegations that the show disrespected Rabindranath Tagore’s legacy.
The clarification from Salman’s team came after rumours suggested that Salman Khan’s production house, SKTV, received a legal notice due to an alleged association with the show. “We are not associated with The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix,” stated a Salman Khan’s team representative, addressing reports inaccurately linking them to the notice.
The legal notice issued by the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation on behalf of Dr. Mondal with Nripendra Krishna Roy as the legal advisor claims that the show risks offending cultural and religious sentiments by allegedly disrespecting Tagore’s legacy.
