India’s well-known film producer, Salim Khan, has firmly stated that his son, Salman Khan, will not apologize to the infamous gang led by Lawrence Bishnoi.
Despite receiving death threats linked to the gang, Salim emphasized that Salman had never harmed the blackbuck, contradicting accusations used to extort the actor. The number of threats has increased significantly this past year, particularly after the assassination of Baba Siddique.
In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan argued, “Apologizing would imply admission of guilt. Salman has never harmed any animal, not even a cockroach. We do not engage in such acts.” He further challenged the rationale behind seeking an apology from Salman, questioning the interviewer’s record of apologies and actions to save animal lives.
Salim continued to defend his son’s innocence, asserting, “What crime has Salman committed? Have you seen it yourself? Have you conducted an investigation? We have never even handled a gun.”
He also mentioned, “Salman wasn’t even present at the time; he loves animals and does not indulge in harming them.” Following the murder of his close friend Baba Siddique, Salman has decided to conduct his upcoming film shoots under stringent security measures.
During the ‘Bigg Boss 18’ filming, Salman was protected by over sixty guards, and filming for his next movie ‘Sikander’ continues with heightened Y+ security. Rumours suggest that everyone entering his sets must present their Aadhaar cards. In a recent interview with ETimes, Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan he has commented on the family’s resilience following Siddique’s demise, noting that they are staying strong.
