Recent disclosures have illuminated the salaries and allowances of Grade 22 officers in the National Assembly. The information reveals that the Establishment Division employs 16 Grade 22 officers, while the Pakistan Administrative Service, Secretariat, and Police include 49 officers of the same grade.
According to the released documents, these 49 Grade 22 officers collectively earn a monthly salary exceeding Rs. 3.96 crore. Muhammad Shakeel Malik, stationed at the President’s House, tops the salary chart with a monthly income of Rs. 1,590,634.
The Inspector General (IG) of Police for Balochistan follows closely, earning Rs. 844,360 per month. His compensation package also includes the use of a car, jeep, khanasama (a type of seat cover), and blanket.
The Chief Secretaries of Sindh are next in the pay scale hierarchy. Each earns a monthly salary of Rs. 775,000, and they are provided with a government vehicle and security squad.
