Pakistani climber Sajid Ali Sadpara achieved a remarkable feat by summiting Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh-highest mountain at 8,167 meters, without supplemental oxygen, as confirmed by Seven Summit Treks Nepal.
Supported by Sabroso Pakistan and equipped by Kailas, Sadpara’s ascent of the challenging Nepalese peak marks another milestone in his quest to honour his late father, Muhammad Ali Sadpara, by climbing all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks without oxygen.
Dhaulagiri’s steep terrain and unpredictable weather make it one of the most formidable 8,000-meter peaks located in north-central Nepal. Sadpara’s oxygen-free ascent showcases his exceptional high-altitude endurance and technical skill, earning praise from Pakistan’s mountaineering community and international climbing organisations. This achievement adds to his record of summiting multiple 8,000-meter peaks, including K2 twice, once without oxygen.
