Russia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, has refuted media reports alleging Pakistan supplied arms to Ukraine.
The Express Tribune Pakistan reported that Khorev stated, “We’ve found no evidence of Pakistani arms in the Ukraine-Russia conflict. These claims regarding Russia-Pakistan arms are baseless.” His statement dispels speculation amid strained global relations.

Khorev criticized Afghanistan’s ineffective anti-militancy efforts, linking them to the country’s economic and security challenges. He identified ISIS as the primary threat to Russia, emphasizing Moscow’s vigilant monitoring through the “Quartet” format alongside regional allies. Under the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Russia supports Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other nations in their efforts to combat militancy.
