Russia has initiated an international search for Ukrainian OnlyFans model Lolita Bogdanova, 24, also known as Lola Bunny, following a controversial topless photo shoot within the Kremlin’s Red Square in 2021, before the conflict began.
Recently, the Kremlin listed her on their international wanted list, a development announced by the loyalist media outlet Readovka.
The controversy originated from her photo shoot before St Basil’s Cathedral, a site deeply revered in Russia. Although Bogdanova apologized to those she offended, stating the footage was old and uploaded by another party, she wasn’t detained but agreed not to leave Russia pending an investigation. A church leader had called for her to show ‘repentance.’ It’s believed she is currently abroad.
This action against Bogdanova comes as part of a broader campaign by Russia to enforce traditional values, marking a significant shift in the country’s domestic policy under Putin. The specific charges against her remain unclear, with reports only mentioning a “criminal article.”
Bogdanova, originally from Makiivka, now in Russian-controlled Ukraine, finds herself amidst a growing number of individuals targeted by Russian authorities for deviating from wartime orthodoxy.
In related news, Russian authorities detained Maxim Tesli, the lead singer of the Puppies band, after a performance in St. Petersburg where he wore minimal clothing, leading to an accidental full exposure. Despite attempting to flee, Tesli was apprehended, prompting discussions among officials and social activists on the need for legal action against what they consider “LGBT propaganda” and morally corrupt influences on Russian youth.
