TMZ Sports obtained police video from the January 10, 2025, arrest of former NFL star Robert Quinn in North Charleston, South Carolina. The footage shows the 34-year-old ex-Dallas Cowboys pass rusher bleeding from his face and appearing combative with officers after a hit-and-run crash.
At around 2 AM, Quinn allegedly crashed his truck into a parked car and attempted to flee via an acquaintance’s ride. According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers confronted Quinn, who exhibited slurred speech and refused to identify himself. When arrested for leaving the scene, he resisted, requiring police to use an arm bar to subdue him.

The footage shows Quinn struggling to balance as officers escorted him to a squad car. Blood dripped from his face, and he appeared upset, repeatedly questioning his arrest. He kicked the car door in an apparent escape attempt, struggling to form full sentences. Quinn was taken to a medical facility for treatment before being booked at a local jail.
Quinn faces two misdemeanour charges: reckless driving and hit-and-run. A trial is tentatively set for December 2025. His attorney declined to comment when contacted by TMZ Sports on Friday.
Quinn’s arrest, as a former NFL star with a 12-year career, draws attention. The video’s release raises questions about athlete behaviour and legal accountability, impacting his public image.
